The Electric Wheel rolled into 2026 with even more organized race events. We're currently running the NASCAR Stock and FCR 4.5"on Thursdays, Brushless Flexis with Open Brushless Wings on Fridays and a New Rookie Race Night on select Wednesdays. Our FCR 4.0 and Womp Classes will be running on Tuesday Nights.
2026 Electric Wheel Rookie Race Night
The Electric Wheel is excited to announce our new “Rookie Race Night”. This is a great chance for you and your family and friends to learn the hobby of Slot Car Racing. Rookie Race night is intended for beginners that want to check out the excitement of racing. This is a show up and race series. Electric Wheel will supply the cars, controllers and know how. All you have to do is show up and race!
This will be a real race situation with the same rules we use for all our races and will prepare motivated racers for our regular race series. Each racer will compete on the King Track racing on all 8 lanes for a minute and a half each lane with a two minute break between each stint. The winner is the racer that completes the most laps. Podium Certificates will be presented to the top three racers.
Rookie Race Nights will be one Wednesday every month. Orientation and practice will start at 6 pm with the racing action beginning at 7 pm and ending at approximately at 8 pm. We encourage families. Kids 12 and older are welcome and there will be special family rates. Don’t miss this chance to make some lifelong memories with family and friends.
2026 Electric Wheel AWRA Womp Classes
Electric Wheel will be continuing to run the three AWRA Womp Classes we ran for the AWRA National that took place here in April. We'll be running the Dirt Late Model class on our oval paired with our FCR 4.0 class every other Tuesday. Practice begins at 6 pm and racing starts at 7 pm.
